Introduction

Wilson Street Las Vegas 1930

"Seek only facts. Opinions will find you"

These are fiction stories about the often grim adventures of uncompromising investigative journalist Eric Fenris Magnuson. They are sequential and sometimes connected. The often mysterious situations are appropriate reading only for mature audiences. Stories involve scientific, psychiatric, medical, forensic, political, existentialist, libertine, and occult viewpoints and are not intended for weak or squeamish readers.

The prelude "Portent of Victory" is included here because Barron Elof II is a Libertarian ancestor of Magnuson. "Diorama", "Luncheon Theater", "Shark", and "Libertarians" are one ongoing story and deal with extremely macabre situations.

"The Warlock of Albany" and "The Libertarians" are exuberant and optimistic. Fenris' Libertarian influence is very great in both of these because they occur in a time of exponential change in human learning and consciousness which this author hopes will augment the huge leaps in technology and medicine we will witness during this same period.
