Herein we find esoteric adventure for Libertarian activists - Revolution Magick. Although there is no affiliation with indigenous kindreds or spirituality in this context, we use an Old Norse symbol as our inspiration. The World Tree is a fine universal representation of steadfastness and eternal life through evolution. We find it's counterpart in many other cultures.

The Order of Yggdrasil is a chilalrous order of knighthood for men and women who possess the courage to love, and the integrity to live, morally in accordance with evolutionary principals. The basic ideals will be readily comprehended by all true Libertarians. The esoteric and mystical principles employed however, will only be understood by those of the 9th degree in arcane orders effectively comprehending the principles of evolutionary dualism, even if terminology for this differs. Membership is therefore proposed only for initiates at this appropriate level of attainment.

The next section "The Inner Chamber" creates a frame of mind conducive to establishing world Libertarianism by democratic means. It does this inspirationally by depicting a daydream which prefigures a time when the revolution will necessarily have progressed much further than at the time of writing. It is a very complete system with bylaws and rituals. There are descriptions of flags, ceremonial armor, dress and field uniforms, and decorations for valor. Symbols are eclectic, very traditional, and from ancient mythology. All of this, of course, involves a much higher level of activism than we hope will ever become necessary.

Degrees of Attainment

Appropriate pantheon reflecting practitioner's heritage should be attributed here. "The Work" for each grade is essentially the same within any component order as for the Ten Rayed Star as a whole. The difference is simply one of focus, reflecting the specific purpose of the component order. In the OY the activity for each grade attainment is dedicated to World Libertarian Revolution.
