There are colonies on Venus and Mars, even small vacation resorts. These are somewhat boring, however, because of the long trip up, with little to do once you get there. Besides this, the temperatures are so extreme that you need to stay inside buildings or cumbersome suits for outdoor activity.

The moon is another story. The trip is much faster. People really enjoy the view of Earth and the relative weightlessness.

Garrett and the girls make the trip. They are astounded that they can jump hundreds of feet at a time. Even with the exploration of mountains and craters, however, they only enjoy the lunar landscape for four days, then they want to go home, but must stay two extra days to catch the next shuttle back to Earth.
