Boston Trip

November 18, 2025

It’s Farrell’s monthly trip to town again. He checks into the Park Plaza, and heads over to Jacob Wirth’s for a lunch of bratwurst on rye.

At the adjacent table, Garrett Valdison is having a lunch of brook trout and talking with Britt Linstrum. Says Garrett,

“This Ravenswood guy is one of the best people in America. I’m going to write a piece praising his work in such a way as to inspire readers to follow suit, or at very least to participate in the revolution in whatever way they can best utilize their abilities.”

Britt looks thoughtful,

“The only thing I don’t like about college cleanup is the extreme youth of most of the victims. That Dinkapu joker I’d hang myself publicly, but think of all those kids that will never have a chance to grow up and look back on what idiots they were in college.”

“It is sad, but we are at war. Most soldiers who die in overseas wars are the same age. None are ever aware of the real issues. or they wouldn’t participate. Nobody should die to make avaricious bankers richer. If we win against the globalists, war and most other large scale problems will be in the past forever.”

It seems like a little too much coincidence.

Ted worries that this conversation may be an FBI setup to entrap him, but on the other hand, to say nothing at this point would seem to be what the Reaper would have to do out of caution so he speaks to Garrett,

“Sorry, I couldn’t help but overhear. I’m a student at Ravenswood. We’re losing a lot of study time because of all the mandatory assemblies addressing this matter, but the excitement level on campus is unbelievable, every day to be where history is in the making.”

Garrett likes this guy intuitively and says,

“Join us.”

“Okay, I will, thanks.”

Ted moves his coat, then his plate and utensils. Garrett asks,

“Are you sometimes worried about becoming one of the fatalities?”

“No, I’m a Libertarian Nationalist. Besides. I never join clubs. I just study and come to town once a month to answer nature’s call.”

He looks at Britt when he says this. She gives him a very female smile. Garrett says,

“we’re Libertarian Nationalists too. Our numbers seem to be increasing lately.”

This leads to names. With this Ted realizes that he has read one of Garret’s books. Garret is pleased and asks,

Maybe I could do a student interview with you as part of that article I mentioned.”

“I’d rather pass. Best to keep a low profile, because I’m so inspired by the Reaper’s example, that I may want to copycat him at some point in the future, like if they catch or kill him. If I do, you can interview me at that point. It would be a much better interview.”

Garett chuckles,

“Okay. Maybe I could do an anonymous interview with him before they kill him. Is there a campus paper where I can place an ad?”

“Yes, but I don’t know the name. I’m sure it’s in the school website. The FBI will be watching your Email forever if you place such an ad.”

“I think they watch it now. It’s fairly standard practice with everybody mow. It probably has as much to do with bolstering rhetoric via ideological eavesdropping as anything else.”

Ted nods in agreement, and asks,

“Just in case you can’t reach the Reaper, what were you planning to say in the article before you thought of doing an interview?”

“I was going to stress that those who aid the globalists don’t know that what they are doing is destructive, because they don’t understand globalist goals. They think that they are just open minded, that what they do is just normal loving behavior, and that the resistance is only hateful racist terrorism.”

Ted thinks, then says,

“Maybe giving a summary of the globalist agenda so they can see that what they do is destructive, then explaining very simply the better alternative in Libertarian Nationalism, would be better than an interview with the Reaper. People would feel less pressure about the personal stigma of finding reasonableness in the words of someone popularly designated a mass murderer. It’s more objective, plus the interview approach has a lot of risks for the Reaper. If I were him, or her, I wouldn’t do it”

Garrett says,

“I think you’re right. I’ll hold off on the interview, and just do a third person essay about the Reaper activity. Maybe they will print it in the student paper if I invite commentary with a website blog. I imagine the college will be less resistant if the kids and professors can lend their voices to what I say as a journalist.”

“Could be. I’ll be looking for it.”
