Creativity

October 21, 2024
Daryl Johnson is happy to receive the mail order items he needs. If only he could have acted before what happened to Sally. From here forward he will keep a small inventory of items for quicker action. The Revolution is well underway.

He discarded the idea of trying to get Lowenstein as well. Leaving town right after a big explosion would be difficult and noticeable, senators have too many propel around them, and even a good silencer is noisy.

Daryl spends less than an hour in the cellar assembling his device. Bonnie is at her book club meeting. The minute it gets dark, he drives to the Billings facility and parks out of site on a farm road. The October air is chilly, and it takes him five minutes to walk in to the exact place he decided on from the air in a rented plane three days ago.

He is planting one main device that will take out most of the facility and another smaller one for the south wing, too far from the main locus not to need its own blast.

The security boys are still eating dinner. Barking dogs worry him a couple of times, but he works quickly and has both devises in place and ready to go within fifteen minutes. He makes it back to his car fast, having to duck only once behind a tree as a truck comes by. He pulls out of the farm road and drives a long way, up to a high place where he can just barely see the facility above the tree tops.

He has things rigged so that both devices will detonate off one switch. He looks out his windshield and presses the button. For a split second he is afraid he messed up, but it’s only the distance. He sees the flash, then hears the huge dull roar of the simultaneous explosions. A huge fire cloud goes up, as with a small nuclear device, into a beautiful glowing mushroom, then fades within a few seconds.

Daryl beats it home quick, before Bonnie gets back, turns on the TV, and makes some popcorn, delighted by the mini explosions in the pan. Bonnie comes in. He looks up,

“Want some popcorn?”

“Yes, please.”

Then the news comes on. As the facts unfold, Bonnie gives Daryl a strange quizzical look.

“Okay, James Bond, did you do this?”

“I wish! Looks like a fine job, though. I’m glad somebody had the guts and the means. Now we’ll have to listen to weeks of bullshit about hate crimes, but well worth it.”

Bonnie shrugs, “You men!”

“Maybe women did it.”

With a sly wink.

“I doubt it.”

The FBI

October 22, 2024

The FBI has found out who all the military explosives experts are in the area. There is only one. They arrive early in the morning and intercept Daryl as he is leaving for work. He has been expecting them and had Bonnie make extra coffee. He invites them to sit in the kitchen. Special Agent Coluvis introduces himself, then speaks,

“I guess you know why we’re here.”

“Not enough demolition people to spread the blame. For the quality of the work, I wish I could say that it was me, but I was here with Bonnie.”

Bonnie nods affirmatively to Coluvis.

A mulatto agent, Mickens, scowls and asks with clipped angry words.

“When you say the quality of the work, do you mean the technical aspect, or the purpose?”

“Both!”

Mickens grimaces and starts to speak, but Coluvis interrupts,

“Can you think of any group or individual who might have done this?”

“No, but if you find out who it is, let it be on record that I recommend him for the Congressional Medal of Honor.”

Mickens can’t stop himself,

“He’s just a damned murderer!”

Daryl smiles and replies,

“Yes, in Africa, but not here.”

“It was 20,000 men for God’s sake”

“No it was 20.000 Shadow Government invaders.”

Mickens frowns. As the agents leave. Coluvis hands him a card and says,

“Please let me know if you need to leave town.”

“Okay, but I have no plans to. If we need to talk more, please drop by like today, but ten minutes earlier. I might be late for work, otherwise.

The Reporter

As Daryl arrives at work, there she is, pretty and blonde, with news truck and camera crew.

“Mr. Johnson, I’m Bay Daniels of NWOA News.

I’m aware that the FBI have talked to you, but just for our audience, how do you feel as a citizen personally about the bombing of the Billings facility?”

“Although I was not the architect, it was a good job, and, of course, a heroic act of patriotism.”

“How can you call it patriotism to murder…”

Daryl interrupts impatiently.

“Miss Daniels, I don’t want to be either rude, or late to work. Those who died were invaders. Those who sponsored the invasion are globalist traitors who I hope eventually will be executed for treason along with all the subverted news twits, present company excepted, of course, who aid and abet them.”

Bay Daniels is flabbergasted, and says,

“Well, thank you for your candor, at least.”

Lumber Jack

Sally MacKay’s fiancée, Paul Donnelly, has just parked his Trans Am Firebird, and catches up to Daryl as he crosses the street to his favorite restaurant at lunchtime.

“Mr. Johnson, I need to talk with you a minute,”

Daryl knows him and says,

“Sure Paul. Have some coffee with me.”

They enter and sit.

“It’s hard for me to say this, but I saw you on Billings Road, just before the explosion.”

Daryl is riveted. Paul continues,

“I won’t ask if you did it. I just want to say that I agree with the course of action, even without having lost Sally, and if there is going to be any other resistance like this, I would very much like to be a part of it. You or any other American patriot can count on my full support. I’ll let you eat now. I’m in the phone book.”

“Okay, Paul. Thanks.”

October 25, 2024

Liberator combines work with revolution, and arranges to play a nearby sports arena in Montana. Daryl and Bonnie receive three free tickets in the mail with a casual note from Coluvis, and decide to attend. They invite Paul Donnelly. After the show, Daryl gets a cell phone call and is invited to talk with Sigurd who explains without specificity his general role in the European revolution. Daryl replies

“As to the revolutionary activity around here, I won’t say anything as to the precise degree of my involvement any more than you would, but I’m very glad that we’re in touch. Things are moving very fast lately. We may be able to help each other in future.”

Sigurd replies,

“Yes, I heard about your Israeli Werewolves. Germany has some of her own. Maybe they can help if things get bad enough.
