Today is the first meeting since the heroes decided to specialize last February. Walter starts the meeting,

“Without specifics, Internet news tells me that we have all been very busy patriots the past few months. Colonel Marion is watching us from Heaven with admiration.”

Many of the men are beaming proudly, as well they should. The list of unacknowledged achievements runs thusly:

Karl Beckman has killed eight subverted Congressmen, four Senators, two aids, and regrettably, twelve secret service guards.

Hugh Bellows has killed fourteen corrupt judges and three protecting police officers.

Paul Donnelly has killed eleven Controlled Media bosses. In one case he had to kill the man’s deranged wife as well, to keep from being kitchen knifed.

Walter Durrant has gassed participants in eight special Globalist gatherings, dispatching some four hundred and eighteen of the enemy in the process.

Daryl Johnson has blown up seventeen Shadow Government buildings, always with people inside, for a grand total of three thousand twenty-four enemy casualties. War must agree with Daryl, because he looks five years younger than he did last February.

John Mosely has undermined the waste disposal systems of nine high-rise government buildings, causing appalling sanitary problems that have necessitated the closing down of the buildings for considerable periods of time. In the course of this he has had to dispatch three people who would have interfered.
