Par for the Course

June 5, 2029

In London today, terrorists use a truck to ram a crowd of Caucasian high school girls, killing sixteen. Then they jump out with long kitchen knives and stab nine more to death before a good citizen, and police gunfire, stops them.

The mayor of London, Sanjai Cahan, when asked by reporters if he thinks allowing endless swarms of immigrants from countries sworn to destroy Christian civilization could possibly be at fault in these weekly attacks, he says,

“No I don’t think that. Terrorist attacks today are par for the course in large international cities. It’s part of modern life, like the flogging of non-whites during the colonial period.”

When Ted sees this on the evening news, he immediately reserves a flight to London.

Ted looks very rugged with his wig and heavy mustache, and is just finishing a nice oversize cup of Lapsang Suchong, when Mayor Cahan walks in for lunch, as he does every day at this time. Ted leaves a tip for the waitress and waits until the mayor is seated. Then he rises, and as he moves towards the door, draws out a large French sheaf knife from under his jacket, and with forward thrusts like a unicorn, stabs the mayor once in each lung, then once in the heart, saying,

“Par for the course in a large International city. Part of modern life.”

Several English workers laugh with delight.

Ted winks at the astonished waitress, goes outside, and disappears into the crowd.
